Five answers, one written price
Most quotations are wrong because one of these five was missing. Send them and the reply is a model, a mast, an attachment, a packing method, an Incoterm and a price — on one page, not a catalogue link.
What to send
- The load. Weight per pallet or per bucket, and how far out from the fork heel it sits. A dense load at a long centre reduces capacity more than the plate suggests.
- The aisle or gate. The narrowest width the machine has to pass, including door frames and rack legs. This decides the chassis more often than the load does.
- The lift height. To the underside of the load, not to the ceiling. Above roughly 3 m the residual capacity curve starts to fall.
- The shift. Hours per day and how many shifts. This decides the battery, the charging strategy and whether one machine is enough.
- The destination. Port or city, because it sets the freight, the Incoterm and the documents.
Then what happens
- We come back with the model and the reason it fits — or the reason nothing in the range fits.
- You get the specification sheet, the load chart and the packing dimensions.
- Payment terms and lead time are stated, not negotiated in the dark.
